CTC offers a variety of services for families in need of assistance in planning, preparing, and/or applying to college.

CTC's in-house college counselor helps students navigate the steps to find the best college to meet their needs.
California Tutoring Company is excited to offer college counseling and education planning services for students of all ages and levels.
College counseling is a one-on-one service for students with the intended goal of making the best college match for each student.
The services can include any or all of the following:

Transcript evaluation: Review of transcripts and personal reflection to help a student decide which type of college and/or career path is appropriate for his/her goals and skill set.

SAT tutoring: Preparation to attain or increase the score needed for desired college acceptance.

College matching: Helping a student explore the many options available for higher education through one-to-one interviews, guided self-reflection, and recommendations. Student will create a list of suitable colleges to which s/he will apply by the end of the process.

College application process: Assistance during the college application process including essay proofreading and deadline reminders.
Applying for financial aid: Guidance for students and their families through the financial aid application process as well as understanding the financial aid offers received from various schools.
